As well as conducting a One-name Study, I have obviously done a lot of research into my own family history. My ancestors come from Scotland (mainly Edinburgh), Essex, Hertfordshire, Berkshire, Devon, Cornwall, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire but like many others, ended up in London.
