I have Dains ancestors who served
I have Ebenezer Dains b.1712 d.1787 and his son Ebenezer Dains b.1739 d.abt. 1785 and his son Asa Dains b.1764 and d. 1843. They were all born in Connecticut. Only Asa died in Ohio in 1843 and is buried in Keelbaugh Cemetery in Athens county, Ohio. The first Ebenezer served in a non military capacity.
