I'm so excited to have found this photo of my great-great grandfather, Archibald G. McIntyre of Walkerville, Montana, in "The Anaconda Standard," published 12 March 1913. The accompanying news story was about his funeral. Unfortunately, no separate obituary seems to have appeared in the newspaper following his death on 9 March 1913. Notice the spelling of his name under the picture is "M'Intyre." Archibald was born sometime between 1843-1859 in Glencoe, Middlesex County, Ontario to as yet unknown parents from Scotland. He worked as a miner in Michigan before moving to Walkerville, Montana. Archie's wife was Martha Grose. Does anyone have more information?
