Lois,

I was looking for a location in Iowa in the 1850-1855 period, and was told by an Iowan librarian, that there was so little development in Iowa at that time, it may have been no more than a crossroads.  I don't know if that applies to your Snyder's Point.

My paternal ggma was Rosella Schmidt from Green Bay, Wisconsin (also listed as Schmitt or Schmitz) marrying Samuel Todd residing in Escanaba, Michigan. Her parents are listed on marriage certificate as Nicholas Schmitt and Teresa Rothwinkle (or Ratheigle).

My grgrandmother was Roseanna Todd,.dau/o Samuel S. Todd, supposed to have been born abt. 1840 at Snyders Point, Des Moines County, Iowa.

 I have not been able to locate a Snyders Point. Was that a place at one time?

 She had brothers Eber, Ephriem(sp?) and Alpheus. 

 She married Daniel S. Taylor and lived in Fremont County.  She may have been md. before Taylor.

Hello,
My great grandmother was Della Marie Todd. She was born 23 Sep. 1866. She died before 1930. I think she died in Los Angeles County, California but have not been able to find documentation for that. She was married to William Chrisostian Holland 13 Jul 1882 at St. Alphonsus Church, Murrinsville, Butler County, PA. She was the daughter of Morgan Lewis Todd and his wife Lavinia. I would like to find out any information about Morgan Lewis Todd and Lavinia. I know nothing more about them.

Hi- We are Todd's of Michigan. ggparents from Escanaba, MI. Much of their family buried there.

My Todds lived in Stretton on Fosse in Warwickshire, but originated in Strathmiglo, Fife
