This is an FYI to those who are not members of the Texas Cemeteries group, I have posted a new webpage with a Tyler County map showing the locations of county cemeteries.

Last month I posted that I was the host of the Hunt County, Texas website on genealogytrails.com (http://genealogytrails.com/tex/prairieslakes/hunt). Well now I would like to let everyone know that I am the host for Dallas County, Texas also (http://genealogytrails.com/tex/prairieslakes/dallas). Please stop in for a visit and if anyone would like to contribute to the site, I would be glad to post it for you.

Peggy Gladstone,

I ran your surnames through the Belew Cemetery listing for Aubrey, Denton Co., TX and none appeared. Happy Hunting.

Greetings everyone,

I am the host of the Hunt County, Texas website on genealogytrails.com. I wanted to invite anyone with roots in Hunt County (everyone actually) to stop by for a visit. The website is http://genealogytrails.com/tex/prairieslakes/hunt/.

Peggy,

I am pretty snowed under at the time, but I have roots in Aubrey, Denton Co., TX that moved there in about 1860-1880. It is now designated as the Cherokee Nation in TX or some such title. My husband attended North TX, U in the 1960's. My surnames in that area are Caddel/l, Looper, Edwards, Phillips, Tidmore. I am 5th generation Texican and have other surnames that were in Red River and other East TX areas.

Sorry I do not recognize your surnames.

I, my parents, grd-parents, & grt grdparents were born (or arrived) in Collin, Denton, Dallas, McLennon, Ennis, Bosque & Robertson Counties. Hmmm! I think there are a couple more. Surnames: Miers, Tarpley, Smith, Beale, Shrader. Would love to chat with anyone interested in these counties or surnames. We have a MyFamily.com private site called "Tarpleys in the USA." Let me know if you are interested.
