OK... I think I found the connection.....going to have to look into a little more. I've been camping all weekend with the scouts so I'm a little beat up right now. Will let you know what I find though.

I have several Brethren, along with Amish, Mennonite and Methodist. Do you have dates on your Jacob, I have 14 Jacob's that I have dates for but no spouse, and two that I don't even have dates on, but everything I have so far says each different Stutzman line I have originated in Switzerland.

Blessings to this Group.
I am from the Brethren Line of Stutzmans....I trace back to Switzerland with the first of my line being Jacob Stutzman and his wife Hanna... I connect with many other lines from Switzerland ,, Muellers, Longaneckers to mention only two...
I have hopes of connecting with the Amish and Mennonite Stutzmans .

I have the Hertzler-Hartzler Book, or a book anyhow, also a Yost D Miller Book that has Beachey, Hochstedler, Stutzman and a load of Yoder's. My direct line is
Christian(6), Christian(5), Micheal(4), Joseph(3), Jonathan(2), Inah married Allen Miller then my grandpa Virgil Miller. I can get back a few generations a couple different ways.....and I don't have most of the Stutzman line done yet.

To Spencer Miller,
Hi, by my estimation you and I should be 5th cousins twice-removed. I'll have to check that better. Somehow, if you get the chance, could you fill in your lineage back to Christian (1732)? I'd like to add you to my genealogy. I'm trying to fill in some of the lines that are not so direct to mine. I have some of the family books that my father, who was the genealogist in my family, had. Descendants of Jacob Hochstedler, Descendants of Barbara Hochstedler, the Hertzler-Hartzler family, the Brenneman family, the Beachey/Peachey family, the Darr family. also have the 3 volume set of ships lists to Philadelphia during the 1700s, I think 1732 to about 1805, if I'm not mistaken. Well, so much for now. Hope to chat with you later. Bye

Hi, Christian is my 6th great-grandfather, through Christian (1758-1854).

Hi, my name is Tom Kanagie. My direct ancestry is Gnaegi-Gnagey. My 4th great-grandfather is Christian Stutzman (1732-1771). He was married to Barbara Hochstedler. Her father was Jacob Hochstedler (1704) and Christian's father was Hans Jacob Sturzman (1705).
