Rockingham Co Historical Society

I will be visiting in the first half of July 2011. Last month I visited and Joined but had less than an hour to research. Researching Helmantoler and all variations from 1783-1793.  Michael Helmondall paid tithables in May 1789 on 3 horses. In 1795 my 2GGF Jacob Helmantoler married Mary Thornhill in Peaked Mountain, Rockingham, VirginiaHis father John Jacob Hellmedal 1767-1820 was married to Catherine Herman.

Any suggestions on what unique compiled sources or vertical files I should review?
