Welcome!

Message from the Group Admin - In order to help us be able to organize and locate information, I think it would be helpful to try to limit the Comment Wall to introduce ourselves and our interests. Hello Everyone - looking for info on Alexander and Annabelle Carr who moved from Ontario, Canada to Worcester, MA in 1900 and left in 1902. Their son Joseph Gordon was born there Sept. 1900, and I have found them on the census.
Just wondering why they went there in the first place, perhaps to work and be near other relatives? They had an older son, Henry Oswald b. 1894 in Ontario.

Hmmmm... seeing that I'll be 79 in 10 years... I can't be certain. lol
But if I'm alive and kicking... I might just do that... I'll be living near Plymouth, Devonshire, England then.....

The state of Massachusetts and the town of Plymouth, MA are already beginning to plan for the upcoming 400th anniversary of the Mayflower. 2020 seems so far away, but for this scale of an event, it's just around the corner. Has anyone here given any thoughts to planning a visit then?
