Child info pointer wrong

I have a child enter for my great aunt. Every time I click on it I get a page showing for a completely different relative and his wife.

When I runs reports everything show properly, but if I go from the name list the relative shows as the child's spouse. How can i reset the pointer so I get her record and not the other relatives?

It seems to be a crossed pointer

Any assistance would be appreciated

try running a database repair/maintenance ... at least that's a good starting place.

Check the links for the child, it seems likely that you have two sets of parents for the child.

I'm relieved! I do recall that this was my fix when a similar thing happened. Many people don't realize that a database is a database, whether it looks pretty (as in Legacy interface) or not ... and all databases require maintenance every now and then. :)
