Hello,
I am a Kipp descendant. Note the line of descent chart attached.
My 2nd geat grandmother was Helen Martha Kipp who lived in Rhinebeck, NY. She married Palmer Holmes, Jr., from Ghent, Columbia Co, in Germantown, NY. They lived for a short time in NY City and then in 1835 they came to Tazewell County, Illinois, with 50 other colonists to settle what was to become Tremont, Illinois.
She died the next year in March and is buried invMt Hope Cemetery there.
Her husband was left with their two children Ann Eliza and Benjamin Franklin Holmes.
