Where are your Howey's from?

My Howey line goes back to Robert Howey UE who lived in New Jersey during the American Revolution. He was a prisoner of war until the end and resettled with his family in the Niagara area of Ontario. His son Daniel Howey moved to Norfolk County, Ontario where his daughter, Jane Howey married Phillip Butler.

Helping a friend do research on his HOWEY family and since he doesn't do computers, asked me to see what data is available on FANNIE ADELL HOWEY who married HARRY SHOE. Fannie is my 88yr old friend's mother. He was told she was born on a ferry travelling to/from Canada.
Any info I can pass along to my friend would be appreciated.

by G G grandfather was Ira G howey born july 1858, Lapeer Co. Michigan.. from what I researched... his wife was Fannie
