Hello, my maiden name is Ruth Elizabeth Hayley. I have traced my Haylet lineage as --- James Hayley 1640s attorney @ Jamestown Virginia

His office was burnt down by the Bacon Boys, A Needham was the head juror in the Bacon Boys trails and the Moorings had a plantation just out of Jamestown,

James Hayley has a bit of very hard luck---- Mama dies---dad remarries, Dad dies, his step mother remarries (a man of high regard) step mother and her husband raise James.    James marries and a baby is killed for which a woman  LUCY  is convicted and sentemced to hanging.

In 1850 --- John William Hayley (dies in 1874) marries Eliza Jane Mooring the daughter of Wyatt Mooring and Martha Needham in Tenn.

 The Moorings have a huge plantation in Mooring Tenn  near Reelfoot Lake,     the west corner of Tenn.
