Does any one have any information that verifiable about the first people with these surnames coming to the Colonies?  I loose my line in late 1700's and some of that is suspect as far as validity, assumed relationships do to petition signings.  Last valid date is Asa Grissom in 1816 petition in Montgomery NC.

Tom have you been in touch with Milton? His research indicates that the two early settlers came from Lincolnshire and are part of my family. I have tracked the family back to Norfolk also. We live about 25 miles away from Gresham in Norfolk. Are you able to pick up my email address from this site?

I will try, Mine is tgrissom@crosstel.net

No, I could not get your email address. Please send me one on the email address I sent you last.  Who is Milton? I am not familiar with him, unless he is the Milton Gresham that is in the Gresham/Grisham/Grissom FTDNA group.  I match with him at genetic distance of 3 with the 37 marker test.  That would put us about 8 to 12 generations back to a common Y-DNA donor!
