Hi Sherri! Let's start an APPLING Discussion so people with Appling Ancestors will know how to find you!:-)

I have been researching the Cribb family from Appling and surrounding counties for years. There is also a Cribbs family also in south GA. If anyone has info on my Cribb, or know how Cribb and Cribbs might connect, I would love to hear from you.

Hi Freddie! Thanks for joining the Georgia Root Diggers forum! Make sure to post your SURNAMES to the right County Discussion. If it doesn't exist, feel free to create one. We want folks to find you easily!

I have been into family genealogy for almost twenty-five years and I have been able to trace my heritage back to France. That said, most of my families are located in Georgia( Henry, Breedlove, Washington, Owens, Redding, Walker, Blocker, Gardner and others that are related. If you have individuals in thes families I would be more than happy to share information. email meac1@aol.com

Oops! I sent my greeting/intro to "Group" instead of here. Hi Georgia Root Diggers. I'm researching maternal surname Gillis in Emanuel County, GA. I am looking forward to learning and making genealogy friends on this journey.

Am searching for my paternal great grandmother. My Aunt said her name was Margarett Blaylock. My Grandfather's birth record shows her name as Margarett Layrock born in GA abt 1852. Her family had moved to Missouri, Have no idea when. I have located in the 1880 Mo Census a Lenarld and Martha Layrock, born in Missouri abt 1865. This could be a brother to her. She is a very thick brickwall I have run head-on into.

Welcome! Welcome! Welcome, all the new Georgia Root Digger Members!:-)

As GenealogyWise becomes more popular {if that's possible!}, I'm looking forward to more researchers with interest in our common Counties joining & assisting with bringing ALL our research "brick walls" down!

REMINDER: Please check to see if the COUNTY Discussion Forum already exists before you create a new one. Doing this will make it easier for other researchers seeking and/or sharing information to find use collectively.

For example, researchers with Ancestors in GREENE County, post your surnames there and so on...

Imagine what the Georgia Root Diggers Group will look like a year from now?! Heck, we'll have a forum with ALL Georgia Counties represented!

Woo-hoo!:-)

Luckie.
