Sanders of Ottery, Rockbeare, Crediton & Barnstaple

My Sanders ancestors were living in Ottery in the early 18th c, then moved to Rockbeare, then to Crediton, and then to Barnstaple where my great grandfther Robert, a ship carpenter, married Mary Ann Short. They moved to Cardiff in the 1860s where he worked as a shipwright in the dockyards. The name Robert was in the family for many generations - I am Robert, my father was Robert, his uncle was Robert, my great gf was Robert and his father was Robert, and the latter's uncle was Robert. Naturally one of my sons is Robert, my nephew is Robert and there is at least one cousin Robert !
