It should, but you might want to send one copy to the group and keep one copy in the discussions, so that we can have a copy for new members to find in the future - because it doesn't seem as if the group messages are copied on the site.

Elizabeth, I have a whole bunch of Cuban relatives on my Father's side. I will recreate my earlier message which included my Barranco ancestors, but would like your guidance on how to transit it - Should I send it as a Group message, a coomment or send it as the start of a discussion? I gather that Genealogy Wise is a new Genealogical Networking system and that all the bugs may not have been worked out yet, if I send a Group message, shouldn't that message be sent to all the members of the group? Welcome, Stephen! I'm glad you joined, was feeling lonely here all alone! Tell me more about your research. I think you sent a message to the group, but I lost it somewhere in my e-mail and I cannot find a place to see messages that were sent to the group anywhere. :O Which one of your relatives was from Cuba?
