Crewe DNA cousin, James Stanley Crew(s), in the colony of Georgia/USA

Looking for Crewe family in the UK. So far, this is like looking for ET in the stars! Any Crewe persons interested in connecting with Crewe descendants in the USA---contact someone in this group.

You might be interested in the One-Name Study in the UK. Debbie Kennett nee Cruwys launched the Cruwys name for the study. As the DNA study reveals, we Crewe are Vikings (I1) from Scandnavia, and not directly related to the Devonians. Debbie graciously included us in the study with the Devon Cruwys clan.

So, we are now actively looking for Crewe family in the North of England.

These are very cool! We need to find the UK link. Who is the Crewe/Crew/Crews who ended up in VA during the pre Revolutionary days?
Hi Charles,

I am working on connecting with Crewe cousins in England....maybe we will get lucky and find information over there.....who left, when, why.....

I have had about a dozen replies from Crewe relations on Facebook----all 30 and under! Will be like pulling teeth to convince one male Crewe to participate, but, I am working hard at it!! Maybe some of the ladies will tell their daddies, uncles, brothers, granddads......

Keep an eye on things....gets better every day.
