David Cole, Son of Rachel Paschal Cole Williams & Rev William Cole

My research on the Cole family stems from Rachel Paschal Cole who was married

to Rev William Cole.  After his death, she marries Providence Williams in Newberry Co., SC.

I have her son David Cole in Perry Co., Alabama.   I found some information on David at the Find A Grave

site.   It indicated that he might have been married to a Sarah Williams.  Land records show David Cole

in Perry Co., Ala by 1820.   He was born in SC.   Had brother Jesse Cole born 1798 in Newberry Co., SC

David Cole born 1791 Newberry Co., SC.   1792 Newberry Co. SC and Elizabeth (Betsy) Cole born 1796

Newberry Co., SC.

David Cole held the property of my descendant Josiah Williams in Perry Co., Ala.  Josiah sent his son John

Williams to Perry Co. 1827/9 to sell the remainder of his crops, etc..   David Cole is mentioned in this POA

for his son John Williams.  

Josiah's first wife was Abigail Williams who would have been a half sister to David Cole.   Her father was

Providence Williams and his first wife, Elizabeth Gary.  Elizabeth died and he married Rachel Paschal Cole.
