John,

I did find the copy of the will. I don't think George Draper Briglin was mentioned, but I will verify for you and send a copy.

Hello, all. I've been "out of pocket" for a while, but I'm back now.

Jason, can you tell me who your Briglin parents and grandparents are/were? That would certainly help.

Hello John,, I also descend from Edward and Harriet (Snowden) Briglin, thru their Daughter Mary Briglin ( Sister to your Robert Briglin) Mary Briglin married George Draper and then i go down thru their Daughter Nancy Ann Draper who married Rueben Stowe and they moved out of NY and on to Iowa

Saw the other post before this one.

Edward migrated, with his family, from Yorkshire, England to the U.S. in 1817(from memory) and first settled in Seneca County, then later relocated to Steuben County.

Edward and Harriett had at least six (6) children. Not all came to the U.S.

I have scans of baptismal records of several of Edward/Harriet's children in Yorkshire, England; hardcopy (somewhere) of citizenship applications of Edward and his son Robert; hardcopy of Robert's will and several other documents.

What information are you looking for, in particular?

And which branch of the Briglin's are you from? My grandmother, Aleatha estella Briglin, was the eleventh child of Harrison and Libbie Briglin. Harrison was the son of Harriet Malissa Briglin and Franklin Thurber. Edward's (his grandfather and adopted father) will stipulates items left to Harrison Briglin (also know as Harrison Thurber.
