Comment by Jane Hinkle on April 4, 2010 at 4:54pm: I am researching my husband's Hinkle family. The farthest I have been able to go back is Anthony Hinkle b. 1810 in Garrard Co., KY. First wife Mary Cook, 2nd wife Amanda George. Anthony's father came from Virginia. Anthony moved to Arkansas in 1844. I have been able to do all of the genealogy in Arkansas but I cannot find out anything about the Hinkle family in Kentucky or Virginia. I know there are alot of Hinkles in Knox Co., KY and am not sure they are related.
