Hi John. No, I had not found your site, but am delighted as I browse it. Looking for William Pepperdine b. 1852, not quite sure where. He was my husband's great grandfather. There are a couple of stories that I would like to have clarified. One has to do with his mother's death in a trainwreck in which she was supposedly beheaded. The other has to do with a voyage, during which, off the coast of Africa, they were accosted by ??? William dies in 1931 in Illinois, USA. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.
