What surnames are you interested in researching?
Daughenbaugh – Searching for the origins of Jacob Daughenbaugh born 18 Aug 1818 possibly Kittening, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, married Mariah _ born 18 Oct 1823. I would like to her find Mariah’s maiden name. Have a family record from a book of wisdom owned by Mary Ann Daughenbaugh, daughter, however the origin remains unknown. I would like to find out who has this bible now.

Dewey – Looking for records of Ezekiel Dewey to update/corroborate with the out of date genealogy Life of Admiral Dewey, born possibly in Skenesborough (Whitehall), New York around 1770, resettled in Hemmeford, Huntington County, Quebec and St. Remi, Quebec where he was a large landholder and played a role in commerce from Montreal to the United States. He married Elizabeth Goodell

Fleischhauer – Looking for the origins of the Fleischhauer family.

Freeman – Looking to confirm the identity of Elisha Freeman born 10 Aug 1747 in Mansfield, Tolland, Connecticut, resettled in Norwich, Windsor, Vermont and died 8 July 1838 in Westville, Franklin, New York. I have located an image of his tombstone, but remain at a brick wall since I cannot find his will.

Pralle – Looking for the Birth Record of William H Pralle, born ca 1871 in Nenndorf, Diepholz, Lower Saxony, Germany.

O’Neill – Looking for information about the origins of Owen O’Neill born 1825 or 1827 in Ireland or at Sea off the coast of Central America, according to family sources. He married Ellen Russell 3 Nov 1850 in Boston, Massachusetts, resettled in San Francisco, died 28 May 1871 in Belmont, San Mateo, California and is buried at Holy Cross Cemetery in Menlo Park, San Mateo, California.

Olswang – Looking for information on the origins of Jacob Olswang, born July 1872 in Kurland (Lithuania), married Margrette McGreevy, born in England.

Hello,

I am Jake Fletcher, native of Massachusetts, 23 years old. My passion has been genealogy since I was about 17. Having completed my undergraduate education (history), my goal is to publish genealogical research and become a CG. I am looking for advice on the subject.
