Vincent or Vinson Family Research

I was wondering if any Vincent / Vinson researchers out there have connected with Maud McLure Kelly's research. She descends from John Vincent (1787-1871) of Shelby County, Alabama, who had 16 children. John's father was Aaron Vinson (1747-1791) of Johnston County, North Carolina. I wonder if any Vinsons who haven't changed their name back to "Vincent" descend from this same line?
