Hi,

I am researching surnames BECK and WASDEN in Coffee County. I have hit a brick wall on my ggg-grandmother, Gracie Wasden Beck. Here is what I have:

b: 1811, Jackson County, GA
m: 1829- Everett Beck in Montgomery County, AL
1840 census- Everett Beck household- Dale County, AL
1850 census- name spelled (Gralia)- in Coffee County, AL
1860 census - Gracie is not in this one.

In the 1860 census the youngest child is Andrew Beck, b: 1859

I am trying to find out when Gracie died and where she is buried. If someone in Coffee County can assist me .........I would greatly appreciate your help.

Thanks,
Louise

Hello.....Let me update this information: I found a death record for Andrew Jackson Beck on familysearch.org.....he died in 1929 and his mother is listed as Elizabeth and father "Beck". I thought he would be Gracie's last child and that would make her death be sometime in 1859 before the 1860 census. I am thinking Andrew was born out of wedlock to Mary Elizabeth Beck.

The youngest born before Andrew Jackson Beck was Catherine Lucinda, b: 1854.......so I am thinking Gracie would have died between 1854 and 1860.

Thanks,
Louise
