He lived with Thomas & Jenny Murray. does anyone have any info on this family? I have 2 possible birthdates but no way to figure out the correct one.

Comment by Jean Marie Tahyi on September 20, 2011 at 2:20pm: I am researching the family of Anne Murray and John Blake. They lived in Canada. Their grandson John Murray Blake moved to Pennsylvania where my grandfather was born, The Murray name was passed on through the family as a middle name for all of the males including my father John Murray Blake. There was one in every generation that I have come across.

Most of the changers moved to Kearney New Jersey I have also heard. Anyone with information on this family is welcome to contact me.

Comment by George Murray on August 11, 2009 at 2:04pm: I'm a real amateur. I'm looking for Murrays who emigrated from Scotland (Glasgow) to Canada and/or the US about 1840-50. They settled on both sides of the St. Lawrence River, in a radius of about 40 miles from Ogdensburg NY.
