My John Saddington is my two times grandfather I have no birth date the first time he shows up is when he married a mary ann geary in 1860 in southwark on the marrage certificate he is shown as a Gardsman but the Gards archives have no record.
On his daughters birth certificate in 1862 he is shown as a private soldier but by 1885 on his daughters marriage he is shown as deceased.
I did find a strange thing on his daughters baptism his name is Thomas.
i can not find him in any census his wife mary ann was born in kerry Ireland about 1840
