Hi Dorothea. Hoping to connect with you. I am a direct paternal descendant of Ralph le Rous of Lancashire who flourished circa 1130 and have been studying the powerful family le Rous for many years. I'm in the process of writing a book about the family and would love to collaborate with you if you are willing. Your work involving Richard de Camera is of particular interest. Richard marries the sister of Alicia de Heriz, lady of Stapleford. Alicia provides the origin of my Harris name after she marries a son of Ralph le Rous. Her son took his mother's name. In other words, Richard and his close le Rous kinsman married sisters.
