A long shot, but a William Trevan married a Rosanna Reno of my family lines on 15 Jul 1856 in Iowa City, IA. I understand he was an A.M.E. minister and served the church in the IA, IL & IN areas. These Trevan's had four (4) children; William, Jr., Jabas, Theopilius & Ruth all born before 1870 in either IL or IN.
Best wishes in your continuing research efforts....... Art
