George Henry Dyer was born in 1840 in England but died in 1913 in Port Elizabeth, South Africa (where I've not been able to visit). He married a Deetlefs whose family left good paper trails in church and civil death records there.

LOL! ok, well i was snooping around and I found a Elizabeth Tilley Howland who married a John Howland of the Mayflower and this would appear to be Desire's mother. Her tombstone is also in the same cemetery. and I have another family member connected to my family who is also connected to this person too! I thought I would share this info with you.

I would be happy to take the photo. I go to Moose Jaw fairly often.

Right now I am on vacation though ... in Ireland.

Did you want to wait for a bit. I will be back in Regina around the beginning of Nov. I could certainly take the pic for you then.
