What happened to the Strahan/Moore Family in Arkansas?

My gr-gr grandfather was Cornelius (Neil) Strahan, born in about 1797 in Bladen County, NC and died in 1866 in Magnolia, Columbia County, AR. He married Mary Ann Moore, the daughter of James Moore III (Mother's name unknown) in 1823 in New Hanover County, NC. She was born in about 1804 in New Hanover County, NC and died in September, 1866 in Magnolia Columbia County, AR. I am searching for information on both sides of this family and have been unable to discover anything about them once they left Meriwether County, GA and moved to Arkansas following the Civil War.
