My debut here

So far the user interface is REALLY clunky and very non-intuitive.  I very much do not like having to use my name and identify my location.  I have nothing to hide, but this blog has no reputation that I've heard of, it just happens to be convenient to my course.  My blog is on LiveJournal, and likely to stay there.

I would like to join a group, but they are not well-described, or easy to find. 

I'm not planning to post any genealogy information here, but it's all over on Ancestry.
