Kentucky Settelers
I have family that moved over from Wales to Kentucky. Without knowing many dates, how does one find out where they came from originally? I have been looking for answers for a few years now, and no one in the family is able to find out or remember anything.

It was Norman Roberts who came from wales. the earliest date I have of this line is his ggrandson Thomas Larkin Roberts born anywhere from 1830-1861 and died anywhere from 1886-1947 (exact dates are unknown). Thomas' daughter Elva Etta Roberts was b. 11-20-1887, married alfred Lindsay Padgett in Boon Cty, IN in 1904 and she died in In in an unkown year. any help would be appreciated.

Have you tired locating them in the Census for when they turned up in Ky. Have you tired looking for where they came into the United States. If they came though Ellis Island, New York there would be record of them on it.
Have you tired vital records to see what they would tell you or even Obt's from the newspaper.
