My research into the genealogy of myself and my husband all seems to revolve around "bricks!"
I had come to refer to my paternal Grandfather as the "father of all brick walls" when I began to research my husband's family.
Turns out, the McCay family was a big name in brick making in Philadelphia PA.
Perhaps they made the bricks from which my Grandfather built his wall of secrecy!
Charles Stanley Davis b. May 1888 "NY NY" and died young.
His wife, my Grandmother never knew any more than that about him.
I still don't.

It was kind of GeneJ to reply. Even their marriage date is a mystery to date. I have the approximate time due to chidrens' births. I know the children and their births etc as they were born in the town in which I was born. That is no help as he had moved there as a "traveling salesman" (can you believe it?) to the town in which my Grandmother was born and raised. He did, indeed, register for the draft....but that give only date of birth and "NY NY" as place. Grandmother never remarried. I will check out the Most Wanted to which you referred. Thanks.
