It was a very small village, anyway, but my sister has found the connections (Victoria Pfeifer) and she and I still have to get together to sort out what information/replies to forward that make sense. The connections get confusing after a while.

Also, I found a group MyHeritage.com and after placing my generations of information on the forms, I have found two or three relatives -- one being a Detleff Meckling who lives in Celle, Germany which is a main town outside Hannover. My Great-Aunts and Great-Uncle settled in Lachendorf after the war which is a village outside Celle. I still have cousins there. Detleff has provided a lot of connecting information for many names.

As well, there is a page on Facebook called Josefberg Galicia Ancestors started by Wayne Lowenberg from Eston, SK. Members of that group are all related one way or another.

I will certainly give you better information as soon as I can. Once again, my apologies for not writing sooner. Thank you so much for your friendship, information, and replies.
