Shari,

You found the marriage information that stated Isaie and Zephirine were my grandmother's parents.I found a border crossing document stating about the same thing. I also found a Canadian census stating at 2yrs. of age Blanche was lilving with Isaie and Zephirine.

Now I have found my grandmother's baptism document on Ansetry.com, at my library. It states that Louis Lalande and Christine are her parents. What happened? I can't find any information on that. I can't find out when they died to see if they died when Blanche was a baby and maybe Isaie and Zephirine took her to live with them. Don't even know if Isaie and Louis are related.  I'm at a loss.

Any help you can give would be great!

Thank you, Diane

Hi Shari,

Thank you so much for this information, youtime and work are much appreciated, Your finding the marriage document is just wonderful!!!!  and it was the key that let Jim find even more of my ancestors.

On my mother's baptism document it said Blanche was a member os the "Tres Saint Redempteur" so do you think they were married there?

Can anyone use the Frouin Microfilms? Or do I have to belong to Ancestry.com?

Thanks again,

Diane B.
