When we moved from the East Coast I purposely avoided selecting the Seattle are a to live because of the rainfall and the traffic. We of course have plenty of our rain down this way. Bend, OR was a possibility due it's low rainfall but when I saw the average daily winter temp I decided I would stick to rainy and average daily temps in the 40's. We were just in NY and got out before the temps dropped:) Happy New year!
