Hi Linda, I am responding to your request for further information on Anthony Messier. I saw your info. on genforum and was very exciited. My greatgrandfather was Anthony's brother, Napoleon. I have been researching the family for the past 5 years and have much more info to share with you if you're interested. Anthony's father was Antoine Messier and mother was Marie Esther Daudelin from East Canada. They had 10 children. Josephine and Napoleon were born in Bennington, Vt, Antoine Jr. (your line),Clara, Joseph, Wilfred, Stanley, Medor were all born in Johnsonville NY, then they move to Cohoes, NY and have Leo and George.
