- For what reason did you start genealogy research?
- I started my research as a continuation of a 6th grade class assignment to write an autobiography with a chapter on parents and grandparents. My maternal grandmother was visiting at the time and when I asked her for information she gave me the information for 5 generations of her family (from memory and all of which I later documented as accurate). My father then told me his aunt was also researching their tree. I inherited all this research and was hooked.
