Hi Laura-
I have family ties to San Juan Bautista. My grandmother and her siblings grew up near there and were baptized at the mission. Two of my great aunts lived there with their families. Each had a business. I love sleepy San Juan. It reminds me of old times with my grandmother. I stay at La Posada when I visit and eat at Dona Esther or picnic on the lawn in front of the mission. Many of my family are buried at the cemetery on the hill.
I saw someone from San Juan and had to say hello.
