My "brick walls" or earliest record for primary surnames.

Jessie Hodges first record, 1850 census, Searcy County, Arkansas, date of birth March 1829, Tennessee is on most records. Orphaned enroute to Arkansas. Y-DNA test on one descendant matches the "Gold" Crow families.

Jeremiah Mooreborn in Ireland about 1800-1810. First record is marriage 7 Feb 1839 to Martha Morgan by traveling Wesleyan Methodist minister in the area near Cavan. Cavan has been transfered from county to county in Ontario, Canada. Now in Northumberland. YDNA testing on two lines of descendants, closest match is Moher of County Cork, Ireland.

Father of Samuel and Alexander Turrentineearliest record of these brothers is their indenture in Philadelphia in Nov 1745. They came from Ireland.

Archibald Stewart born about 1778-1791 in Scotland, earliest record is 1840 census of Bannockburn, Stirlingshire, Scotland. Wife was Jane, we believe Baird. Mtdna for this maternal line (Jane) has over 175 exact high resolution matches.
