- Hi Jeannette,
My name is Candace and I am not sure if you already have this information or not on your Bovender Family. This is what I found, on the 1870 Census in Lawrence County, Ohio The last name is spelled as: Burvender and in the household are Jacob, Charity, Thomas F., Susan C., Jacob H., and Lutha C. I could not find an 1880 Census, there was another son William G. born about 1871 died 1948. Jacob Sr. died in 1895, and on the 1900 Census, Charity is married to a man named Allen Howard and William is in the household.
