Lithuanian Group

At 11:48am on October 15, 2009, Richie C. said…: Takes some getting used to. GenealogyWise is a 'ning' site (I won't bore you), so I already understood the layout and how it works (more or less). If you go to the Lithuanian group page (http://www.genealogywise.com/group/genealogyoflithuania), at the top under the lime green menu bar, you should see a plus sign on the right side that says 'join this group'. Click the plus sign. Then on YOUR profile page, the group will show up in your list and you can visit it easily. There are thousands of other groups on GW that might interest you too!

I read your comment on Ken Jones' post. I have the same experience with folks in Lithuania saying, "no, no, they weren't cousins" when two people with the same rather rare name married each other.

By the way, I have a Lithuanian group here on Genealogy Wise, and we'd love your input.
