I am new to Genealogy. So far have found a cousin I have not seen in about 50 yrs. She was kind enough to share her information with me. I have what I think is correct on my fathers side except for the father and mother of my of my GG grandfather Jacob Coble/Kobel. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I also share.

My mother was a genalogist for 20 years and researched Kobel back a couple hundred years to a town in germany called Kobelskill. 9 Kobel brothers simotaniuosly immigrated to the US and settled allong the eastern sea board. Mom passed away 10 years ago the last i has talked to her about it was that she had traced the Kobelskill Kobels several hundred years farther back in germany. Her Name was Dorothy Irene (Kirby) Coble She did her reasearch at the brannon memorial library in new smyrna beach fla. She most likley entered her findings in a database there or one that the library is affiliated with. JLC
