I found a significant genealogy on One World Tree with a link to your site. If this is correct then you have researched back to William Smiths parents Joshua Smith: B 1655 D: 1690 who married Jane Scott B: 1659. This line leads down to Roland Morton Sterling B: 1844 D: Feb 1885 who married Elizabeth McClardy in Nova Scotia. Their daughter is Annie Lettice Sterling born 1872 in Newport, Nova Scotia, Canada, according to Census info. [ACTUALLY BORN 26 SEPT 1873]. THE INTERESTING THING HERE IS THAT SHE WENT AND JOINED THE KLONDIKE GOLD RUSH. She married STANLEY McCLELLAN  at Atlin, BC, on 22 July 1909. They went into partnership i.r.o. a gold mine at Ben-My-Chree BC with my famous ancestors OTTO & KATE PARTRIDGE. Tragedy struck in 1911 and ANNIE & STANLEY were killed in an avalanche at the mine. This is all very well documented on a number of web sites. The other partners gave up mining there but created a wonderful guest venue and flower gardens. I am trying to find other descendants or relatives of Annie L. Sterling. Kind regards, Richard
