I have a friend whose mother was an O'Neil whose family moved from the Lanark area to the Sarnia area in search of better farming land. She has written a family history and compiled a book that was published. I will ask my friend for permission to give you her email address so that you can contact her and see if this is your family too.

- Try communicating with the parish in Sarsfield as they are all perfectly bilingual. I know the area somewhat as my mother lived in Sarsfield as a child (1909 - 2002). You may very surprised how accommodating and friendly they may be.
