Hi, I'm interested in hearing from anyone researching these names, especially if they are protestant.

Regards

David

Hi David my email address is sharon@tdtvictoria.org.au and thank you!  I will take a look as we think that Anna may have left Ireland at age 14....and ended up in the USA.  Kind regards, Sharon Johnson

Hi David!  You are the first person I have come across researching Semples!  I have no idea from what county my gggrandmother's family derive.  I have their names:

James Semple born approximately 1810 in Scotland

Mary Larkin (Semple) born approximately 1810 in Ireland but no idea where

Anna Jane Semple (my gggrandmother) born 1831 in ireland but no idea where

I would assume there were siblings for Anna but again I have no positive information at all.  She arrived in the US we assume about 1846 but again, there are no records to verify this.  All very odd!  The only thing we have to go on is what is noted in a 1900 census in the US where it has the number of years in the country.  I appreciate any help or information you might have!!  Kindest regards, Sharon Johnson
