Hello David...thanks for your suggestion...I know that Samuel spelled his name Jemison...but his son, my G-Grandfather spelled his name Jamison after he came to the US...I have checked all of the spellings I've been able to think of but have not had any luck finding Samuel, or his wife Sara McComb, in Ireland...I'll keep searching though.
