Hi everyone, I am a new member of the group, but have been into Family History for the last 35 years. My Ancestors came to Sth. Australia from both Devon and Cornwall, but it is my paternal Devon ancestors I am most interested in. I have a problem trying to locate details of an accidental shooting of an ancestor a Philip Stafford Withall, who was born in Lympstone in 1763, married a Sarah Swan of Plymouth in 1785 and had 5 children with her. - My great grandfather came to Australia in 1870 as a Mariner. His half sister arrived in 1848, I wanted to learn more about my heritage.
