"I believe you will need to add the children's mother and like them to her. If the children are linked to the second wife, even listed as stepchildren, she will show as their mother."

Step Children Question

My brother was previously married and has two children by his first wife. 1st wife passed away and he has remarried. I put his children's relationship to his 2nd wife as "Step" children. But now if I click on one of the children in the Family Tab, it shows their mother as wife #2. Also, in the Pedigree Tab it also lists wife #2 as their mother. Even though my brother has remarried, how can I show the "real" mother in the children's view? Thanks for your help. CheriSee More

I have just purchased Legacy 7.5 and am waiting on the booklet. In the meantime I have started inputting some information into Legacy. I have two questions. One regarding step children. I have two children and I put the relationship between me and my children as step children but on the Family Tab screen it still shows them as my children. Is this correct?
