Carol, A p.s. to my contact with Greene County today. Did come away believing, as you have suggested, that researching Greene County from a distance is complicated. Can't help but think "boots on the ground" would make a big difference. Perhaps you'll make a real connection with Mr. Edge. --GJ

P.S. Linda at the museum, so hoped I'd drop by an go through their collection of materials.

I am not able to "edit" other's discussions. I'll include a link to the other discssion in my post.
While perhaps unlikely, am a little worried that someone trying to help will re-search about Edmund, especially as we don't have good methods, yet, to search within a group. On the other hand, I don't want to "turn off" the earlier discussion -- we are still looking, right?
Two other members had a hard time editing an original discussion, only to end up with a duplibcation. I'm wondering if its a bug or a weak user-interface or something else. In any event, I apologize for any inconvenience the duplication might cause.

Also see the suggestion I made just below this one.
We have some "cemetery experts" in the Most Wanted group. I hope your comments will draw out some of their knowledge. I can think of several items to check on in the hope of finding more. If you post to the Most Wanted board, and they don't comment, I'll reach out for help. Sound like a plan? --GJ

Hi Carol ... You left such a great comment on my wall. Have you considered using "edit discussion" at Most Wanted to change the title of your quest to "Who is Noah Beaman's Father? Where is Noah buried?" .... and at the same time, add a _separate paragraph_ to your existing challenge that reads," I am also interesed in learning where Noah Beaman and Nancy Ann Brand (his wife) might have been buried. Noah died 5 Mar 1824 and Ann died 21 Sep 1822. They lived in the Speights Bridge township of Greene County. I can prove their marriage and thirteen children from a Bible in the possession of my uncle. I have a copy. Any trace of where Noah's likely father, Edmund Beaman, might have been buried would be appreciated, too."

Hi Carol;
If I can help with the contacts at Greene County, let me know, will you? Your Beaman challenge feels like one we should be able to advance. --GJ
